Electronic Theatre reports on the re-pricing of Halo 3: ODST, originally slated to be a lower priced release now set to be offered at full price, and wonders how much it will actually affect the product.

One question that should be raised, however, is that of the announcement of Halo: Reach. Will the Halo franchise looking set to receive an annual outing, could the early announcement of the next instalment see consumers loose faith in Halo 3: ODST as a full retail product?

I personally think it was their intention all along. A project doesn't just get so bloated it deserves a full retail release, it starts that way. Developers do not just add stuff for the sake of it, games are meticulously planned as was this decision.
