Wii Development Kit Seen at Mistwalker's Studios

A green Nintendo Wii development kit can be seen on one of photos from Mistwalker’s official website. It was later edited out of the same picture. Could this mean that Mistwalker is working on the Nintendo Wii (and not the Xbox 360) with their new game?

Mistwalker is a development studio founded by Hironobu Sakaguchi of Final Fantasy fame. Although Microsoft backed the company financially, the next Mistwalker game for the home console market might not appear on the Xbox 360.

    They ain't in the business for nothing - that's same damn fine photoshopping.

    A Mistwalker game on the Wii would start me playing it again at least.

    I'm still hoping that their next game is for the 360 though.

      I couldn't agree with you more. After playing Lost Odyssey, I'm really looking forward to any future projects by Sakaguchi and co. If they do create one for the Wii, it'll give me more reason to dust it off and pick it up again.

    Mistwalker hasn't shown that they can deliver yet. They've only done so with Lost Odyssey.
