Bill Gates, head honcho of Microsoft has given us some more quotes to shake our hands and laugh about, made at the All Things Digital conference.

Last week, when Microsoft's Bill Gates and Apple's Steve Jobs got together at conference All Things D, Gates further hinted at what direction Microsoft was going, game-wise. And that direction is? Gates explains:

"Software is doing vision and so, you know, imagine a game machine where you're just going to pick up the bat and swing it or the tennis racket and swing it."

Um, kinda like the Wii?

"No, that's not it. You can't pick up your tennis racket. And swing it."

Picking up my actual tennis racket and swinging it? We have a name for that Bill, and it's called "tennis."

Haha. Kind of confusing article, but Gates is sounding very self conceited, if a little drunk?

I have yet to chose between "ha", "uh", and "huh".

I'll go with all three. Deep down inside, he must realize this is at LEAST slightly similar to the Wii.

Is he talking about virtual reality of some sort? For some reason, I don't think we are quite ready for that yet.

Wow. Bill Gates doesn't even want to admit in the least bit that his idea is pretty much what the Wii is. He's gonna need to eventually admit it.

Actually, Gamestop has Wii Sports attachments, so you CAN pick up a tennis racket or baseball bat and swing it.
