If only Metallica had written the song a minute shorter, I could have used the South Park joke for my lead-in. But the Guitar Hero whiz kid, Danny Johnson, broke the world record for the most points in any song on Guitar Hero: Metallica. He played the 11-minute song, Mercyful Fate, off of Metallica's cover album, Garage Inc. Johnson's already broken the record in Guitar Hero III by setting the highest score on Dragonforce's Through The Fire And Flames. Congrats on unlocking Superstardom, kid.

Who would play an 11-minute song?

I'd get bored 4 minutes in.

When the songs a good song, i don't see why you'd get bored.

      Failed argument.

Probably because he wouldn't like the song, much less being stuck playing the guitar for it.

        Failed rebuttal.

quote: When the songs a good one

        But Mercyful Fate isn't...

If it were Change of Seasons however, that would be a different story...

Good for him. Atleast he's not all cocky about his talents. I'd hate to see any "Danny Johnson Rocks!!" t-shirts...
