Sega and High Voltage Software have announced that their futuristic Wii first person shooter, The Conduit, has gone gold. It will ship to North America on June 23.

Taking place in the near future, The Conduit features an intense campaign riddled with conspiracies that will have you battling against a mysterious alien race that has invaded Washington, DC.

    I want to know what happened to the supposedly "awesome" graphics. Are the gameplay vids I've seen illegitimate or what?

      It's the Wii, you shouldn't expect something like that

      But the gameplay I've seen looks pretty decent. I'd pick it up if I was a Wii owner.

        I just remember hearing a lot of people claiming the graphics would be on par with most 360 and PS3 games and it showed the Wii's "true capabilities" and somesuch.

    Wow, this is the game Reggie said would convert some hardcore gamers into buying a Wii?

    I'll stick to Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and Left 4 Dead thanks.
