That's right. As if the novel, movie, and other merchandise wasn't enough, a comic book based of this hit 360 game is on it's way. I'm not keen on all the profit they are trying to milk out of GoW fans, but out of all the ideas, a comic book series seems simpler and can display the plot better, imo.

The latest Diamond Comics catalog has revealed that Boom Studios will publish an official Gears of War comic book, beginning with a #0 issue this August. There's no info yet on if the comic series based on Epic's Xbox 360 shooter will adapt the game's storyline or will have an original story but the #0 issue will be written by Andrew Cosby who co-created the Sci-Fi channel series Eureka.

Hmm... Very interesting. I won't be getting them, but I bet a few years down the line issue #0 would be worth a fair bit of money. It'll be quite the collectable.

Wow. From a game, to a book, to a movie, to a comic series? Interesting. It seems as if Gears of War is getting milked dry.
