If it's not the relentless clicking of your mouse that drives you crazy, then it's the need to seemingly change out the batteries every second day (if you're running on cordless optical and not living in a cave). Well, this little baby NEVER needs batteries, though we can't speak for its noise level. However, we can forgive that for a mouse actually drawing its power from the mat positioned beneath it!

Attention PC gamers! Maddened by the need to constantly change the batteries in your cordless mouse? Enraged by your palm-sized rodent letting you down during crucial Counter-Strike firefights? Then allow us to turn your easily-diverted attention to the catchy MA-WHNB2S wireless optical mouse, a cordless scroll-and-clicker that doesn’t require batteries.

At 800dpi its a start in the right direction for just general use but it really isn't up there with other gaming mouses that require charging but have a much greater dpi.

Still, I'd buy this in a second if it meant i didn't need to constantly recharge the batteries for my mouse.

    Wonderful news!
Nice find, and it also looks affordable. I can buy one of these in less than a month's time saving from $0.

Looks great. I've been in need of a new mouse for a while now.

So instead of the mouse having a wire, the mousemat does instead? Smart...

      That's what I was thinking.

There's a huge difference. You're not constantly moving your mousepad around.

I have an old wire mouse, and the cord gets caught up on the stuff on my desk all the time. =\

There's a difference between a mouse cable to the computer and this pad's power cable. I personally think that it's still silly, but the "charging thing by setting them on top of the power source" technology is really cool. It has been around for just a little while now, and they're trying to make use of it by putting installments in kitchen counters and such. Think, you could charge your cell phone by leaving it lay around in the kitchen. =)

Huh? The one AA-battery in my cordless Microsoft Laser Mouse lasts about a month. How come you guys need to change it every other day?

Anyway, this mouse sounds like a good idea, but I'd rather just stick with the mouse I have. I don't like how the mousepad is wired.

When i was heavily into online gaming on my PC playing the likes of Counterstrike and Star Wars Galaxies every evening for up to 6 hours, the battery life of my wireless mouse was 2 days maybe less, now i use a wired in Microsoft Track Ball, it is so much easier to use and is ultra quick and accurate for games.

Interesting. A wireless mouse without the need of batteries. It sounds like a great idea since the mouse gets it's power from the mouse pad. Well I might look into getting me one of these.

I can't understand the concept of losing one cable just to have another one that is arguably even more annoying.

I agree with Aegir though, this is cool simply because of the technology used.

Funky technology used indeed, but I have always used the plain old mouse with a wire, and until such technology is perfected I will stick with this.

I only need to change my mouse batteries every few months, so I think I'll stick with it for now but the tech side of it is kind of cool though..
