With the major success of the Wii due to its motion sensor, Bill Gates is hinting that the 360 controller just might be able to have motion sensing as well. It would make sense for them to implement it seeing as the Wii and PS3 have it.
Bill Gates reaffirms previous suggestions that Xbox revisions are on the way
With Nintendos Wii currently storming on in the next-gen console market, Microsoft boss Bill Gates has admitted that his company is looking to integrate motion-sensing controls into its gaming hardware.
CVG reports that at last weeks All Things D conference, Gates stated: Imagine a game machine where you're just going to pick up the bat and swing it or the tennis racket and swing it.
Earlier this year Xbox boss Peter Moore admitted that his firm is looking into the possibility of integrating motion control into the 360 joypad, stating: We have plans. This does not come as a surprise.

I thought Bill gates said he didn't want to get involved with motion-sensing? I guess realized he couldn't run away from it.
He did say some pretty funny things about it.
First HDMI, now motion sensing....
Yeah, I can imagine it. In fact, I can play it right now. It's called the Wii...
Wow, a whole day.
