When someone has a family to raise, they need a better job with a better salary to give the child a right home. Well things don't always happen like they should, especially for an employee of Konami. She got demoted from her job which required her to travel quite a lot. She was demoted because Konami believed that a job at home would be better for her to attain to her child's needs. Right or wrong, up to you to decide.

Apparently, Konami thinks it can raise children better than their actual parents and will not hesitate to act in the best interest of the child. Like demoting and cutting an employee's pay for the good of her new baby, for example.

Konami did the right thing. She needed to get back in the kitchen.

The funny thing is, the joke isn't completely sexist in this case.

When I read the title I was screaming "KONAMI YOU F'ING ASSHOLES"

But reading the whole thing I see the logic behind what they did but they should keep her salary the same as before then promise to offer her old job back when the kid is older, if she's with Konami in 16 years that is.

I can understand why they did it. But if she's willing to continue with the position and leave her child in the care of others, they should allow her to do so.

There just doing it because they don't want her not to be able to work because of the child. There doing it out of their own interest, not the child.

I do agree with this, you can't have a career and a child. One of them has to suffer and it's normally the job.
Konami were only doing what's best for themselves and I agree with them.
