According to The Sims 3 producer MJ Chun, the thing which most hurts your Sim's mood is being on fire. Second up, and pretty far behind is starvation, and just behind that is heartbreak.

On the positive end of the scale, the best thing that can happen is having children -- for 24 hours after having a child (even twins or triplets), your mood will be boosted 60 points.

Fidgit writer Tom Chick says: "So by my math, if you impregnate four women and have them all give birth within a 24-hour period, you can walk around while you're on fire and not care."

I didn't know you could catch your Sim's on fire, I'll go ahead and try to do that when I make my homeless family when I'm copying Kevin and Alice.

If you're interested in fire, there's also a hidden 'Pyromaniac' trait, unlocked when you have a child with a fireman, I believe, which lets you light stuff on fire.

Not sure how it works exactly (if it's unlockable for anyone after that, or just the child) but it definitely exists. There's a few other unlockable traits too.

Lol, I'll have to try and unlock some of these traits! I haven't gotten into marriage at all, I've sadly just made my two Sims into drones that go to work 5 days a week and then come home and just watch T.V., play videogames, or read. I haven't been too great with time management.
