With news of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 being delayed, King of Fighters XII is the latest fighting game to suffer the same fate. The Japanese build was initially supposed to come out on July 16. However, it's being pushed to a now obscure "July release" instead. The reason cited for this delay is to improve on the title. This might not be so horrible for Japanese fans who can surely wait out 2 weeks at the very most; however, there is no idea about how this can impact the release date in Europe and North America.
SNK's multi-platform fighter The King of Fighters XII was originally slated for release on July 16. That has changed. The game's release date has been moved to a vague "July release".
The reason? According to the Japanese press release, this has been decided so that the SNK can improve the title.
The 100 percent hand-drawn The King of Fighters XII was released in Japanese arcades this past April.
We are following up to see how this effects the Western release date.
