Courtesy of The Pokémon Company's product page for the upcoming DS remakes Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver, the Japanese release date for those two games are now confirmed to be Saturday, September 12, 2009. Each version will go on sale for 4,800 yen.

Releases outside of Japan have not been confirmed but are expected.

    God damn, Nintendo kept it under the radar, and practically finished!

    Now if only they can work on a new DK 64 with that kind of energy...

    I hope they change up the story and add side maps. I'm sure they will though. Also these remakes I believe are to help people catch Legendary pokemon from the gameboy versions for the D/P series. So I am looking forward to this
