Publisher Tecmo have confirmed the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of Ninja Gaiden II will receive a demo come this September.

The game is notable for featuring toned down violence and difficulty from its Xbox 360 cousin.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will arrive this autumn.

It is also notable for its superior resolution and framerate, the additional 3 characters, online co-op and new bosses

You know, just like every port

I hope Co-Op doesn't ruin the difficulty of the game.

If anything it may make the game harder as they will most likely just double/triple the number of enemies on screen.

The co-op missions will be separate to the main game.

Hm, doesn't change the fact that the difficulty might be dumbed down.

No maybe about it, it will be. I'm equally dissapointed -- NG was one of the few series left that didn't compromise its hard difficulty.

Yeah, but that's where the the 360 version comes in...it's still hard as hell. xD Team Ninja will never be the same again, though.

Great to hear it toned down the difficulty. I might consider getting it this time.

    Badass box art.

Played in on my 360, I enjoyed it. Might pick this up for the extras.

It's not the actual box art, far as I can tell. But yeah, pretty nice.

I am hoping the gore can be optionally tweaked.

Storm, all the main people from Team Ninja have moved on to Itagaki's new studio (tenatively named "Tokyo Vikings"), so there's them to keep an eye on.

I know, chautemoc. But still, they won't have rights to the NG series. This remake was put forward by whoever was left, the same small team that did the first Sigma.

        Or Dead or Alive.
        Yip I know.
I'm looking forward to Itagaki's war game anyway -- he says it will be something very different...could be great.

Huh, that's news to me. He's doing a war game? Interesting, gotta check that out then.

Right, DoA is...well let's just say that if we thought the fifth game was taking long enough with Itagaki and co. there, it'll take even longer with this team, and mentioned, just won't be the same, either. Bah, damn bonus issues.

Very early stages, no real word on it yet.
