The developers behind the Halo franchise will be partaking in their annual Bungie Day festivities this year on July 7 2009, the team announced on their latest podcast.
Maps will not be handed out this time around, but there will be a new, special playlist. Rather than doing the traditional 7 vs. 7 setup, the day will feature a 4 vs. 4 playlist where players can earn Recon armor and engage members of the Bungie team for a whole 24 hours. Not many details were revealed, but this playlist is said to feature 32 community made variants maps.
Expect more details from Bungie soon.
