Two Classic Characters Return For Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Reunion

Konami have recently submitted a trademark for "Genso Suikoden" in North America, which is also the name of the series back in Japan. The last time they registered a new Suikoden trademark, it lead to the game Suikoden Tierkreis. However, at this stage it's not certain what the possible uses of this new trademark could be. Also note that registering the trademark doesn't necessarily mean that it will be used.
A few days ago Konami registered a trademark for Genso Suikoden in the USA (thanks for the tip Pesmerga00!!). The last Suikoden trademark led to a brand new game, but I’m not sure this one will.
Genso Suikoden is what Konami calls the Suikoden series in Japan. This could simply be a protective trademark. However, the Genso Suikoden trademark is slightly different than the Suikoden trademark. Genso Suikoden can be used for online computer games and downloadable programs for cellular phones too.
On the other hand… Konami has been simplifying names too like calling the new DDR game Dance Dance Revolution and Pop ‘n Music, well Pop ‘n Music.
I can’t decide. Is this for a new Suikoden game? A re-imagining of Suikoden I? Advance legal protection against a shady software developer piggybacking off Konami’s RPG franchise?
