As part of one of the goriest videogame series to ever rip the spine out of its rabid fan base, the exclusive inclusion of Mortal Kombat Armageddon to Nintendo’s drive to destroy the dangerous ‘for the kids’ hardware label that unjustly killed off the GameCube, is certainly a blood-encrusted step forward.

    Mortal Kombat Armageddon sounds tight as hell. I'm glad to hear we can finally create our own Mortal Kombat fighter in the all new Kreate-A-Fighter mode. I'm also looking forward to being able to create our fatalities.

    Doing fatalities are so friggin' easy, but one thing Ed forgot to mention, doing combos on the Wii controls are impossible, as he didn't fight with normal moves, just special moves...good thing you can use the classical controller.

    Bringing the MK series to Wii would make a huge step forward for Nintendo. This will almost certainly take off the label "For kids" system. Now we can all rest assured Nintendo is competing.

    Yeah that's the first thing I thought- Nintendo has always been seen as the Kiddie games console mostly because most of it's games are like that (Mario, pokemon etc.)

    But with a hardcore, mature game like MK, nobody can say that. But then again, games like Red Steelk have already begun to do that.
