Well the Atelier games are "connected" but usually by like hundreds of years so each can be enjoyed on their own, so you can play this new one with no worries.

I wonder what gamebreaking bug they're going to add to it.

You have to finish the game in less than six turns or else an untranslated text prompt will appear, crashing the whole thing! Seriously though, it's nice to see NISA is still paying attention to the Atelier series. I can't be certain if it's really all that popular in North America, and the last few localized entries have been rather uninspiring.

Let's also hope NISA starts paying more attention to the spit and polish if they really are serious about localizing Rorona. As a PS3 game, it's could fall under greater scrutiny.

Or maybe beat the first boss in one turn?

Nothing like a NISA game without the terrible bugs!
