Pokeballs have been reannounced in the new SSBB game. Some returning pokemon for the pokeballs are Groudon, Goldeen(sadly), and Chikorita. Chikorita is returning with razor-leaf, Groudon runs across the field burning all who touch it, and goldeen still just flops around.

When you throw a Poké Ball in Smash, a Pokémon
of some sort will appear and come to your aid.

Mmm. They’re quite reliable. But you never know which Pokémon is inside a Poké Ball.

Of course, having this particular Pokémon appear at the most critical of times is in keeping with Murphy’s Law.

The pokeball is probably my favorite item in the Smash Bros games. Glad to see they are going to be in Brawl.

    That's great =D

I remember my brother and I would always rush to the first poke ball that appeared on the stage.

I was pretty sure they would be included in Brawl, being one of the more favored items in the last game by many. Nice to see they were approved.

I wouldn't have thought that this would qualify as news.

Well I thought that it would be pretty obvious that Pokeballs would be included. The new Groudon Pokemon looks quite beastly though. Even bigger than Snorlax hmm?

Awesome, I thought that they were going to be Pokeballs anyways, I mean they've been in everygame and if they weren't in here then Pokemon Fans wouldn't buy the game =o. Lol kidding, but seriously though.. how is this news XD.

Glad they reconfirm that they would make a return and nice to see Groudon as a new pokemon from the ball.

It sounds like Groudon has the exact same powers as Moltres in Melee, just a little bit bigger.

Is one of these going to be made for every update? But the pokeballs are cool I was pretty sure they would return as they are one of the best items. Groudon looks cool and I don't mind goldeen returning though it would have been better if they made it magikarp

Shame there's not a "bury" option at GameGrep. The fact of the matter is that it's not "news" as it had already been announced that pokeballs would be present.

Hey, I only said that a few days ago. I think more of the impetus should be on those who approve blindly.

Obviously 45 people and an approver thought it was news-worthy. Anyway, it's good to see them return the third time around, they can really help someone who's behind in a match at least make some kind of a comeback.

Woah. It was obvious that this item would return, but I'm liking the Groudon pic. I hope there's nothing as useless as Goldeen or Magikarp (though there still will be -_-).

It was stated in the article that Goldeen was still in the game, sadly. But without those useless Pokemon arriving every once in a while, the item would be even more cheap than it already is.

I figured they would include pokeballs in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. The pictures look pretty sweet too. I can't wait to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl on my friend's Wii.

It would have been a surprise if they DIDN'T include this in the game. They had it in the other 2 games, who actually thought they were gonna take it out?

Sweet, I always loved the pokeballs, Groudon should be a nice new addition. I hope to see more new pokemon in the pokeballs.
