Monolith has opened a new contest where participants get a chance to christen the sequel to their celebrated FPS, F.E.A.R. Entries can be as simple as a suggestion, but contestants can also submit files (up to 30MB in filesize) for images or movies of their own design to sweeten the deal. The contest runs until June 22nd.

Incidentally one of the contest rules advises against the use of acronyms for title submissions. Maybe they felt the first game's title was too corny; well, that and Monolith will be preparing the sequel for a different publisher this time around.

"FEAR" only this time it actually means what it says it looks like it does. Technically it's not the same title either. I'm *bleep*ing brilliant.

    I have a great name.
I'm submitting F.E.A.R. Two! It's bold enough to work, I'm sure of it.

      I don't know, man.

It sounds too intense. I don't think the gaming industry can handle such an epic title like that.

How about S.H.I.T.? F.E.A.R. is teh worst game I've played on PS3. Was it any good on PC?
