Awesome news for those of you who didn't like the new control scheme for Fight Night 4 (ie using the analog stick instead of buttons for punching), an update is coming September to "fix" that. Also, August will have some other free dlc. EA is really nice sometimes.

EA will be releasing DLC in August and a free update in September. The update will give the user the ability to reconfigure punches to the XYAB buttons instead of having to use the analog stick for punches.

While this will definitely please a lot of users who were complaining about the new control scheme, this will also make an uneven playing ground for those taking their bouts online (with button punchers having an advantage). However, in the end this might help EA gain some leverage in the fighting sim genre that seems to be taken over by UFC 2009 Undisputed.

The DLC (also free) is stated to include, "a new training gym, new gameplay sliders, as well as a host of new equipment that can be used for outfitting boxers. Xbox 360 users will also receive an exclusive alternate version of Sugar Ray Leonard in their first DLC pack, courtesy of Pizza Hut."
