I know we have a few Kombatants around Neoseeker, and no doubt a few like myself were waiting for the MK vs DC DLC. Well, Ed Boon has shot down the idea, releasing a 3D render of Quan Chi, who was said to be one of the first available downloadable characters.

With Mortal Kombat 9 now under way, it’s a bit of a push for fans of Midway’s crossover: Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, to expect downloadable for the November title. With the team now dispersed, only recently has Ed Boon, the series creator, unveiled a 3D render of a series favourite, Quan Chi, the dark sorcerer who was favourite to be one of the first DLC characters for the gory superhero mash up.

Out-*bleep*ing-rageous!!! I just bought this, hoping that the license would hold out for DLC, but now.... this really makes me upset I just paid $30 for this. Good thing I bought it used, so I'm not directly supporting the publisher. So, chalk it up to not buying a Mortal Kombat from Midway anymore; besides, I honestly liked playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on my old Xbox a lot better (plus a poop ton more characters). Congratulations for not being able to make a slam dunk on a proven idea, Midway!
