Ninja Gaiden 2 was well known for it's gory gameplay, which involved lots of blood and decapitated limbs. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, however, will have alot less blood and gore. A decision that the game's director and producer Yosuke Hayashi thought was neccessary. Go to the source to find out why.

Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying Ninja Gaiden 2 for a whole year already and until now PS3 owners have had to settle for their 'Sigma' version of the first game for their ninja killing fix. Finally an updated version of NG2 is heading to the Sony machine, but while it's bigger and better in almost every respect, there's one thing that's certainly not. Gore.

Eh, I don't really care about the gore these days. It was awesome when I first saw it in games, but now its just lost its novelty. Of course, gores a plus point, but the lack of gore isn't going to bother me in any way.

Eh, don't really feel like getting this game again, as in, a rehash of a game that was released just last year. Big NG fan, but not that crazy over it.

Not even for coop and three new playable characters?

Rachel?...Oh god no. It's practically two new playable characters, she can go jump into a volcano for all I care. I don't really have anyone to play Co-Op with, either.

Just sell NG2 and get this one. It's guaranteed to be better with all the extra features. Plus co-op for a NG game seems like an interesting concept.
