It's a bit hard to believe, but 15 years ago Bethesda released Daggerfall. At the time, its scale and customization was unmatched, even today you'd be hard pressed to find a game with as much content that's packed inside. Today, Bethesda is released the nostalgic masterpiece on their website for free in celebration of the anniversary.

The game features everything that you know and love from the current Elder Scrolls series, if your a fan of Oblivion or Morrowind, it's a must.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls, we've released The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall as a free download. Head here to download the game.

On a related note, this game was probably my first experience with nudity in games. I remember walking around the corner in the Mages Guild and BAM. I felt so dirty looting clothes off people xD.

Yeah, for some reason I remember my horse's neigh being on constant loop any time I rode it. Pretty much the most annoying thing ever.

Very bad for me, since I never remember to save my games until I'm done playing.

I think the only nostaligia of Daggerfall is the horses neigh is the exact same in Oblivion. The bugs are terrible though, seems a company can add more polish but the bugs will always remain as Morrowind, Oblivion and even Fallout 3 had their fair share of silly bugs.
