Nothing But Shooters takes a look at their top ten campaign levels from the Call of Duty series. With so many great levels to choose from, narrowing the picks down was difficult, while missions from the upcoming MW2 (which is going by the Call of Duty handle again, apparently?) will undoubtedly overthrow a few of these nominations when it arrives later this year.

Much of the CoD series’ success can be attributed to its multiplayer components. However, the campaign levels of each game consistently deliver gripping experiences as well, yet these often receive significantly less praise than the popular multiplayer battles. For many people, nothing compares to the thrill of online play, though it can still be very satisfying to play through an intense campaign alone.

All Ghillied Up. Hell yeah. I knew that would be #1 before I even looked at the article.

In terms of new gameplay mechanics, All Ghilied Up is definitely number one in that category.

In terms of drama and storyline, Aftermath has my vote for the best. I never expected the nuke to go off then and the way they added that little part when you control a dying Jackson was done perfectly.

I agree with you that Aftermath held more emotions than All Ghillied Up, but AGU still comes out as number 1 for me since it manages to keep up the magic throughout a pretty extensive level. Both are mind-blowing, though, and has yet to be topped by another FPS, at least for me.
