Killzone 2 has been receiving DLC that is actually worth buying. Now a new pack has been announced, called the 'Napalm & Cordite' pack. And this time, not only will you get two new maps, you also get two new weapons, the Flamethrower and Boltgun. Both fitting for the theme of the DLC.

Guerrilla Games has announced that another patch will be making its way onto their popular FPS tile, Killzone 2 in the near future.

The DLC will consist of two new maps titled Napalm and Cordite, both which are based upon a fire and ice theme. Alongside the new maps, will be two new weapons in the form of the appropriately themed Flamethrower and Boltgun.

Hm. I'm not sure I like the idea of having to fight people with flamethrowers and boltguns... I just feels as if this will make the multiplayer less balanced.

It's not that balanced to begin with. Give the class with the most health the rocket launchers. Good going GG! I fear that the Boltgun and Flamethrower's gonna end up in the hands of the Assault Class as well.

Well, I mostly play Scout these days so I rarely even notice their rocket launchers. But when I do play something else I have to admit that I've gotten a headache more than once due to people shooting rockets in every possible direction. I make sure I shoot them in the head, just to take as much fun as possible away from them.

Rockets aren't that bad anymore. Besides the fact that they have less health after the last patch, everybody disables the class anyway. That's actually kind of annoying because I always used the auto lock M80 rockers to take out bots, but the VC9 whores spoiled it.

Holy crap, tell me there's gonna be lots of snow. Snow in a game like Killzone 2, it would look gorgeous.

Since dust and smoke and stuff looks really life-like already, I'd love to see snow too.
