PSN to SEN: Time to rage quit? - DarkFeed

When you think of Nintendo, the mustachioed plumber's face probably pops up for most people along with Link and Samus. However, could Starfy be the latest character to join the ranks of these idols? Nintendo is certainly promoting him in a big way, or at least bigger than most of the other non-flagship titles. They held a recent event at their New York store promoting the Legendary Starfy game that was released last month. Fans of the starfish were given their chance to express their love by hugging the starfish (inflatable, of course). Now if only Nintendo would show this kind of love for their other titles.
Is Starfy Nintendo’s next star? Nintendo is promoting the smiling starfish that way.
Nintendo held a Legendary Starfy event at their flagship New York store where fans could hug (an inflatable?) Starfy. Yeah, The Legendary Starfy came out about a month ago here and a year ago in Japan, but at least Nintendo is pushing the game. Chibi-Robo and Fire Emblem didn’t get this kind of treatment.
Perhaps, Nintendo of America realized they have another family friendly franchise in their pocket. The funny thing is The Legendary Starfy aka The Legendary Starfy Showdown! Dire Pirate Squad in Japan sold poorly in comparison with the rest of the Starfy games.

I still love Starfy though. <3
*Awaits informative rant.*
Starfy appears in Brawl as a trophy and an assist trophy, wherein he spins to reflect projectiles and do minor damage. Some theorise that Sakurai doesn't like Starfy because he's too much like Kirby.
Starfy's games have never left Japan, but a Starfy game is set to hit America very soon. Denetsu No Stafy (as the series is known in Japan) 3 features Wario in one of the worlds, some people (like myself) only found out about Starfy because of this.
Starfy's games take place both in water and on land, with different abilities available on each. I haven't played the games (but I will, as soon as I can get them in English), but I assume this adds a kind of puzzle element at times.
Also: Hooray for someone else who uses Zelda goddess names in vein! I'm not alone!
Just think along the lines of kirby.
And its nothing like kirby, people. Sure, Starfy bears a similar appearence, but they are NOTHING alike. Play the game, its AMAZING.
Everyone should buy this, if you do if we're lucky Nintendo may port the first 3 to DSi Ware and the 4th will get localized.
