Electronic Theatre reports on the revelation of a month of release for the Fallout 3 DLC packs on PLAYSTATION 3, and the suggestion that later installments may no longer be "timed exclusives" on the Xbox 360.

Following our report earlier today that an announcement for the forthcoming PLAYSTATION 3 release of Downloadable Content (DLC) for Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 3 would be coming soon, new information has been revealed this afternoon. Although lacking exact release dates, the update from Ashley Cheng, Production Director at Bethesda Softworks, reveals a change in that which was previously thought to be the strategy for release.

    It was already known that all DLC will be coming to PS3 in time. Keep up.

    Yeah, quite old actually. If I remember correctly the downloadable content was SUPPOSED to be released by the end of June, but from Kotaku's article Here it shows that it's been pushed back to September.

    I could care less now. When Fallout was an exciting title, probably. Lots of PS3 owners I know are thinking the same thing, the whole "Timed Exclusive" idea sounds good on paper, but they lose a lot of business from it as well; perhaps more so than the gain they make.
