I'm pretty sure that UFC2009: Undisputed will be much better than any MMA-based sport game that EA puts out.

For one thing, I don't even think EA will be able to use the likeness of anyone in the UFC, because UFC2009 is the official game of the sport. For me, without the likeness of actual fighters, the game loses a lot of appeal.

I think EA's game could still be great, but I don't think it will be as good as an official UFC game.

Plus, Dana White is a badass. EA has a bunch of programmers at their disposal, but White has an army of trained fighters.....The two sides should fight each other...

UFC Undisputed is a great game. Has a few things that could have been added to improve it. If EA release a MMA game with these improvements, I'm willing to give it a go. Even though they want be able to get many fighters licenses. As long as Fedor is there, I'm happy.

I can't see EA getting any fighters at all in their MMA game because if they do, that fighter will then be banned from the UFC for good.

Yeah, the only way they'll be able to get real fighters is if they base the game on a different division of MMA Fighting, like Affliction, WEC, or something like that. But, honestly, UFC is the biggest MMA league, at least in America, so it's sort of a lost cause for EA whether they use real fighters or not.

The game-play is just going to have to kick some serious ass.
