At around 1:00PM PST, just less than a week after the game was made available to download on the XBOX Live Arcade, XBOX360 players finally unlocked the Coral Sea map and the Air Superiority game mode after reaching the 43 million kill milestone. PS3's Battlefield 1943 kill count currently stands at around 22 million kills. They are expected to complete the Coral Sea Challenge by next week.

In a little over four days, the Xbox 360 community tallied over 43,000,000 kills, un-locking both the Coral Sea map and the Air Superiority mode for the console.

either there's half as many people playing on ps3, or ps3 gamers all have horrible aim.

Actually, on the PS3 servers, we've had peace talks and successfully ended World War 2 through handshakes and hugs.

Or maybe it's because the XBL version arrived a day earlier. Or more XBL users bought BF.

But of course it always has to do something with PS3 gamers having horrible aim

I'd be more inclined to think PS3 users fingers slip of the right trigger everytime they want to fire

Shoot is actually R1 in the PS3 versions of shooters. In spite of there being triggers on the PS3 controller, it's never set to be used the way it should for some reason. :\
