Major PS3 Announcement Planned for June 11th!

You read it right! Although we have no clue what the announcement is, I am already hyped. As a Playstation 3 owner, I'm hoping for something good, but cheap enough to afford.

That part made me grin. Finally, Sony pulls something away from Microsoft. I know it will be something great!

Start counting down to June 11th as Sony has a huge announcement in store for PS3 owners.

News is breaking along with many rumors in regards to what exactly this huge announcement could be. Sony has stated thought that a major announcement is due for June 11th and Sony stated that it will bring a lot of smiles to PS3 fans.

When you hear something like that you have to smile a bit. Here is the quote regarding the announcement.

What could it be? One must think that it would have to be an absolutely huge and exclusive game or something to that nature. Let the rumors begin though as to exactly what it could be. This is a lot of hype to give an announcement so start getting ready to be blown away!"

    Sounds intruiging. Killzone 2, anyone? I think it could well be, although I don't know why they'd be swarn to secrecy...

    Chances are its something new. Nothing in the league of Home and Little Big Planet.

        Crysis anyone? Thats a game the Xbox 360 has no chance of running, Crytek have been hiring staff to work on a PS3 project for the past year and now there is a huge announcement on the way, what else could it be lol.

    What does Dynasty Warriors 6 have anything to do with the console, ZTR I think it's something relating Home. Is there an official release date for when it's available? If not, my money's on that.

    lol@Dynasty Warriors. The line about "real time" immediately makes me think Killzone 2, but of course we'll have to wait. Doesn't really matter what it is. PS3 is due for some big news.

    8 Days any one? We haven't heard about that game in a year. And the traile we saw we thought was CGI, but could it have been real time.

    Either awesome PSstore demos content,Awesome announcement of 2.0 update and what awesome things it is going to have,new game info or earlier release of Home.

    You know what i think it is, i bet it has something to do with the F@H and some hardware stuff that the xbox couldnt even try to do. It makes sense last week it was up 905,000 teraflops, perhaps it reached a petaflop. you Never know, but i think it has something to do graphically or maybe be able to play xbox games or something, like that.

    Here's hoping to Killzone 2. If it gets the jump on Halo 3, wow.

    Guticb, you'd tell me if it were KZ2, wouldn'tcha? WOULDN'TCHA!?

    Kinda hopin' for another game in the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus series though. I'd be fine knowing that, and knowing KZ2 was still being worked on. I want that game to be the epitome of uber.

    All this hype is going to drive me insane if it's not something worth-while. This announcement is all I've read about on the net today and IRC is all over this on a myriad of channels. Damn Sony.

    They released the announcement of the announcement a few days early, so they are probably trying to hype people for it. Its barely been a day since I learned of the announcement and I am already hyped about it. Time doesn't fly when you want to know things.

    You know its funny i love sony and all, but right now im calm about this. You would think me a big fan of sony would be impatient to know what this announcement is. But here i am calm as a cucumber. I guess either im patient or know it will be a huge announcement, but not worrying about it. Hey guys what if something they cooked up to play xbox on ps3, wouldnt that be super cool lol

    Meh, the announcement was about a game called "The Agency". I was hoping it wouldn't be a game, but oh well. I'll still check the game out, and if it isn't already posted on this site, ill get some info up about it.
