Kojima Talks Limited Edition MGS4 On PS3

Another Limited Edition game for the Playstation 3. We aren't sure as of yet to what the limited edition will feature that the regular game does not already have, but just do what I do and keep telling yourself it will be good. Kojima is taking suggestions as of now to what will be included in the limited edition, so it could be much or less a fan built game. That's what I'm hoping for, at least.

"News is coming out that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be receiving a liimited edition version when it releases on the PS3.

Hideo Kojima wrote in his personal blog revealing the information that Kojima Productions is seriously considering a limited edition for the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on the PS3.

There has been no announcement in regards to exactly what the limited edition could feature but it is something to definitely get excited about. Brainstorming ideas in regards to the game it could be possible that the limited edition could feature re-worked cutscenes from past MGS games re-done in HD similar to what Microsoft is doing with the limited edition version of Halo 3.

Kojima is asking for suggestions as to what should be included if the limited edition was going to happen. It looks like it is definitely a possibility though at least in America as it seems that the big games lately are all getting limited edition releases. To send in suggestions head over to the blog."

More absurd than the $90 special edition of GTA IV? Impossible xD Well, depending on how much more it'll cost for this edition and what it comes with will help me decide to buy it. I'm sure they'll have a special edition.

I got a few suggestions...

-Entire MGS Soundtrack (MG and MG2:SS as well if they don't mind)
-Exclusive Online Multiplayer Skins (Compartibility with Portable Ops as well) and extra Maps (Subsistance maps would be nice)
-Behind the Scenes with Hayter and Kojima and those good ol' boys that have been around at least since MGS
-Online Leaderboards

I will buy anything limited edition of Metal Gear Solid. I'm a whore for MGS.

I bought Snake Eater, then like a year later or whatever bought Subsistence and it was totally worth it.

It would be nice if the MGS4 limited edition came with something like, a disc with which you can upload tons more MGS-related content to the Nintendo Wii's Smash Bros. Brawl.

Um i have a better idea, new levels and cool new system that halo has lol hahaha that will pwn halo for sure. Certain features or weapons that halo has lol.

Either way it has to be worth the buy, i dont think Kojima would waste his time on a limited edition if it did not include much

Maybe a full story on previous Metal Gear's, but about all of them, probably a making of the game, and maybe a visit down MG1 and MG2, i hope it is more than this but what else is there??

Subsistance already had the MG/MG2 package, which was genius IMO.

Maybe this one should have MGS in it, I still stick to my Soundtrack suggestion, I'm crazy about "The Best is yet to Come"
