SSBB Kirby Update

Jesse1234567 | June 07, 2007 | News | Wii
An update on Kirby in the new Super Smash Bros Brawl game was released today. Also, new screenshots shown of a few of Kirby's attacks. Looks like many of his attacks are the same, the graphics are his weapons look nice though.
This is Kirby, Warp Star-riding citizen of Dream Land who can suck up anything. His copy abilities allow him to steal the powers of other characters!

Yeah... He’s the only character who really hasn’t changed much from his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He’s round, pink, and soft.

Hopefully he'll be a lot better than when he was in Melee.

The screenshots look pretty good. Kirby will probably have one or two new attacks.

Hopefully he will. I was okay with him in Melee, but I was also perfect with Peach, if that says anything. If anything, he needs at least one new, good attack. Replace that hammer FTW.

Was about to say the same thing, Swift. Kirby's jumping helped to recover better than other characters, but the rest of him was rather bland. Even his ability-stealing technique got horrible ones.

Yeah, I hope he is way better in this one than in Melee. I used to use him all the time in the first Smash, but he was really crappy in Melee.

Heh my friend always used Kirby as his character and seemed to do pretty well with him. He isn't that bad of a character, but yes I do hope that he is improved slightly for Brawl.

I actually haven't played SSBM, but the new Brawl one sound better since it's on the Wii. I'm thinking about buying it when it comes out.

Kirby wasn't really good as far as attacks and power, but I hope we see an improvement in Brawl.

I agree. In Super Smash Brothers Melee, he only served one purpose for me: Copy Powers and use them against his opponent(s) but hopefully, his "Brawl" version will make him a more worthy character. The screenshots are quite impressive though. Kirby's visual appearance has much improved.
