As if being surrounded by a bunch of sweaty nerds wasn't enough, EA is offering prizes for those who "commit acts of lust" with their booth babes. One lucky winner will even get to take them out to dinner in a limo, all on EA's tab!

Runners up will receive copies of Dante's Inferno, and various other prizes

At Comic Con, if you commit "an act of lust" with an EA booth babe and take a picture, you could win dinner with said babes, as well as a great big pile of prizes related to the upcoming Dante's Inferno. That's right, the babes won't just get the standard behavior and awkward advances—if someone is really obnoxious, they get rewarded for it, and then you get to see them again socially!

Technically you're only supposed to take a picture to be entered, but I can't even start to imagine how people are going to get creative with this one. I hope they gave their models a can of mace or, better yet, an actual mace. Or maybe just a few sharpened sticks. Going into that throng, in a thong, with prizes being awarded for lustful actions being enacted upon you? Dear Lord.

My eyes are rolling as I type. Very pathetic, but I guess some people are that desperate -- yay pretend-dates?

    This.

Let's face it this wouldn't be the first time something has gone horridly wrong because of bad wording, especially when it has a chunk of people who get off to seeing anime characters raped by tentacles and shit involved. I can just imagine a fat guy charging at one of them with his hands out ready to grab flesh whilst someone else records it.

Probably an over exaggeration due to cynicism but I reckon this is going to go horridly wrong, one way or another.

What they should have done (or should do) is make all the Booth Babes really old and fat this year then see if people want to get so lusty with them

so did they hire booth-guys to hang around too?
You know, so there would be equality for both genders and all the sexual orientations?

      Hehe ask RabidChinaGirl about that:

      http://www.neoseeker.com/news/10743-sunday-musing-booth-babes-booth-boys-/

My 2 cents is that it is never going to happen. Women just aren't motivated by the appearance of attractive men as much as guys are by attractive women, and most gamers are still guys not to mention.

        That article was dead-on.
I agree with you that more gamers are guys. But i must say, that this female gamer happens to prefer attractive men over women bending over and picking up the pen she dropped hahhah

other than that, wouldnt it be funny if a woman won this prize?

Give me a male booth babe and I'll gladly sexually harass him for a free game.
Hell, I'll do the same to a female booth babe if I get a prize outta it. XD

I'm not sure if I should literally facepalm, shake my head, burst into laughter or just sit here bewildered.

Well if nothing else EA certainly know how to get people's attention.

E3 barely allows female booth babes at all, but Comic Con goes as far as this?

    What ever happened to moderation?

I think he was talking about Comic Con going this far with Booth Babes anyway. Well not this far but far enough that moderation was out of the window.

Yay, let's give these pre-pubescent minded gamers hyped up on libido, a reason to actually go with their disgusting lustful thoughts
