Resident Evil 5 Spoilers Ahead!
Albert Wesker has been the primary antagonist of the Resident Evil series for over ten years and has always had an uncanny ability to return from the dead. So many fans were left wondering whether he'd show up in future RE games, despite his demise at the end of Resident Evil 5.
Today Resident Evil's producer Masachika confirmed that Wesker is indeed gone for good. "There's no chance he's coming back from that," Kawata said.
I'll believe that when I see it!
When asked if there was any way Wesker could survive the events at the end of Resident Evil 5, Kawata firmly stated, no.
"Even if you want Albert Wesker to come back," Kawata told the crowd, "there's no chance he's coming back from that."

its impossible for wesker to survive that
I'm sure we'll get enough of our dose of Wesker through ports and re-releases. But maybe doing away with him is a good thing if they're going to reboot the series and try to start over anew.
I will miss him.
Don't know why but his death should have been...."more". Maybe if all the other former S.T.A.R.S. members where there to help kill him rather than have Chris and a newbie kill him I would have been happier, but his death felt cheap.
Here's hoping that if RE6 is a true reboot to the story, he'll come back. And he'll drop the team rocket take over the world crap.
Needless to say I'm happy about this, about time RE got a new villain.
"You don't know he's dead!...maybe he DUCKED the rockets", *bleep*.
That being said, I don't want any of the original producers working on the franchise any longer. Neither Mikami and MUCH LESS Takeuchi.
I hope these things aren't forgotten now that Capcom are "rebooting" the series.
True, but considering the fact that you spend the last parts of the game taking him down multiple ways, I'd personally hate it if all my efforts and the closure actually meant "To be continued"...we've had too many of those. Usually it was a "We've got to stop Umbrella!" followed by a triumphant song, horrible cliffhangers.
Honestly Wesker had the G, and the Veronica virus, both proven to be highly effective yet rather than advance on those viruses perfecting them, no he comes up with some shitty giant rape tentacle that looks and acts oddly suspicious to Marcus's leechmen.
I can't believe you liked the TransGender virus. Then again.......
Either way I'm sorta glad and sad that Wesker's gone for good. Glad in the sense that he became a total cliched tard in RE5 rather than maintaining his coolness. Sad in the fact that He used to be cool, and RE5 made him into....a total cliched tard.
I'm gonna be honest here, a virus that can literally turn a guy into a female electro-Tyrant on stiletto heels is pretty hilarious. Props to whoever came up with the concept.
I probably haven't read everything on Uroboros, but it can't possibly just 1 or 2 viruses and maybe a dash of Plagas and that's it. Might have been unoriginal, but it is still pretty strong. That and Wesker had already lost his shine once they kept bringing him back each time after CVX...and even then he was pretty weird. Overdramatic evil laughs, weird accent, complete lack of personality, etc.
Talking about personality, could we add a cynical side to Chris? And to every other survivor? It's starting to get weird how these people are so caring despite everything they've gone through.
Haha, that would be awesome.
Oh ya that's a zombie, *yawn* I've already seen these things so I'm no longer afraid *cocks shotgun*.
I missed it when the characters where really afraid and all they wanted to do was just get out while they can.
