Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) has been out of commission since the "lost issue" you see pictured here, but if you haven't heard, its founder Steve Harris is buying it back and starting all over again.

In light of that, past affiliate 1UP has sat down with Harris for a look at the history of the magazine, as well as the direction it's headed for the future.

What's he been up to? Why's he getting back into the business at this point? Because, as he puts it, the new EGM -- a mix of print and online properties -- is something that's never quite been done before.
