Star Wars: The Force Unleashed looks as though it'll deliver the promise never quite realised with Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, mainly due to the next-gen power at LucasArts' fingertips, but mainly because it IS, as the title clearly states, The Force... Unleashed. Shudder.

Assume the roll of Darth Vada's secret apprentice and ramp the Force power amp up to 11, because that’s the entire core gameplay mantra for The Force Unleashed, even the game’s creators are living and breathing the idea of monumentally "kicking someone’s ass with the Force" throughout the entire production.

Wow! This looks awesome. Darth Vader's secret apprentice eh? Should be a nice spin off from the Vader game I saw last year.

I hope it's more of a missioned base game, rather than just mindless ass-kicking...which is still good.

doubt it, its called copyright material. They should just leave it the way it is in the movies.

What? It's a LucasArts game, the lead guy on the project publicly states that everything is George Lucas-approved.

The storyline takes place in the 18-year gap between Ep3 and Ep4, as the Sith kill off the last remaining Jedi.

Is it really so hard to actually watch the clips for you to discover that?

Of course it's George Lucas approved finalblade. Nothing star wars isn't.

It's an interesting way of keeping the series alive. People would get bored if they just kept regurgitating the same stories from the films.

What's a Darth Vada? Anyways, as long as we get to use a Light Saber, I'm picking it up.

finalblade98, I would seriously consider stop commenting if you don't read the posts before yours. It has been approved by Lucas, and to be honest, no one knows if he has an apprentice (which, according to a few of the universe additions, he did, as did several belonging to the Emporer) since that topic was never covered before it was done.

Nice one, looks like a decent game from the clips. As long as they make this apprentice an interesting character, the storyline could work out reasonable. I wonder how this plays on the DS too.

According to the panel discussion we have on-site at GamerSquad, the LucasArts team dodge the question of whether it's coming to PC, so I guess not.

Or maybe they haven't decided if it will yet? Why would they just nto answer if they weren't planning on it? Unless they just want to keep people interested thinking it might be?????
