    Virtual pets...wow.
Sounds just as bad as Nintendogs.

I think you guys are being a bit tough. The trailer makes this look pretty neat.

Suprised its hitting in 09, Sony only announced this early this year right?

No I believe they announced it around the same time they announced the cancelation of The Getaway and 8 Days.

I do think you guys are being harsh. The demo shown was impressive and looks beyond nintendogs. And seeing as Milo was all smoke and mirrors this probably out does it. But as far as what the tech is being used one, well....

Yeah, I definitely remember seeing this last year; I remember the guy scanning a car and the pet driving it.

I think it's a pretty neat idea, it implements the idea of scanning things in better than what Milo showed, and definitely looks like it'll appeal to the casual gamers.

Perhaps the biggest gain for Sony out of this is moving Eyetoy units; getting casual gamers ready for their motion detecting controllers.

Edit: Actually, that's probably the reason why this has taken so long.
