Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

They have met the 1 million mark. I bet Sony had expected to sell One Million Playstation 3's earlier than ten weeks, as well as I did. But none the less, they have made it. Still, the PS3 outsold the PS2 and PS1, seeing as neither of the two could make the One Million mark in that short of a time. Not only that, but it also outsold the Xbox 360 and Nintendo products. A good week for Sony no doubt
"Sony Computer Entertainment Europes President David Reeves announced that Sony has sold one million PS3 units in PAL territories in less than 10 weeks.
This is huge news for Sony as it is a big milestone to be reached in a short period of time. This rate of sale of the PS3 puts it at a pace above the PS2 and PSone as neither were able to sell one million units that quickly like the PS3 did.
The PS3 launched back on March 23rd in the PAL territories and has already topped that milestone. David Reeves stated that "Early last week we went through the one million mark on PS3 and we did that in nine and half weeks."
He continued by stating that it was "faster than both PS2 and PSOne. An dI think that the analysts out there will also realize that its faster than our brothers and sisters (Microsoft and Nintendo) in the competitive world."
Good news for sure for the PS3 in PAL territories."

I always new the PS3 would outsell the XBOX360 and the Wii
They got off to an excellent start in the first weekend of the European launch, breaking the sales record for any home console to date.
But we all seen this coming
I knew the PS3 would dominate the other systems, Sony is too good not to.
I do think they did a good job in having supply levels high enough for demand in PAL regions, even if it did mean a five month delay.
I said "dominate" in the words of a Sony fan.
It was expected for them to fly off the shelves when some newer titles began coming out, the bugs were fixed and some heavy hitters for the industry would be coming soon.
