Well this is an odd twist of events. One of the great things about LittleBigPlanet is the constent free levels made by the community. The only time you had to pay for more levels were for the MGS add-on. Well it seems the PSP version has an extra option in the menu, the option to buy more levels.
At a recent Sony event I tried to play the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet, but the game was stuck on a menu screen with three options: story levels, downloaded levels, and purchased levels.
So far, there haven’t been many pay to play LittleBigPlanet level packs made on the PlayStation Store. The Metal Gear Solid Level Pack pack comes to mind, which was a well designed set of levels. Perhaps, Sony plans to sell professionally designed level packs as DLC for the PSP version.
