Damn i really can't wait for this now, but you know what?

People will still bitch about this in some way or form, it won't shut up the idiotic boycotters.

Good thing I traded in my 360 version for the PC version. PC gets it free.

Exactly why is it free for PC and not 360 (apart from the fact that there are a shitload more people who have it for 360)?

Woot, I can see myself enjoying this, though I don't like the sound of the changes to Versus Mode, I love it as it is.

Microsoft won't lose a significant number of fans by making people pay; Valve will.

This wouldn't have been made if there wasn't a boycott.

    Be thanking THE BOYCOTTERS.

You think this was made in the space between the boycott and now, and wasn't being worked on before then? I hope you're being sarcastic.

No, believe me, Kave En is not being sarcastic in the least bit.

I know he's a moron, trust me, but... sewers have limits to how much shit they can produce and I honestly can't believe his stretches this far -_-

They're actually appealing to fans of the original and givin people reasons to still own it, or even own both thus rendering arguments about it been too early, money-grabbing and so on irrelevent?
QUICKLY EVERYONE BOYCOTT VALVE, IF WE DON'T THEY MIGHT CONTINUE TO DO AWESOME THINGS!

In all seriousness though it's nice to see them doing this, at least unlike most developers they at least listen to their fans somewhat.

Valve are easily one of the best gaming developers out there. How many other companies do you know support their games as long as they have, and for free no less (PC versions at least, they fight to get things for free or as little as possible on consoles).

But yeah man, this helps people to notice that Valve are still supporting the original game, regardless of the sequel coming out.
