Eliza Dushku, famous for her role in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and many other movies, is also the voice actress for the upcoming game WET. She has spoken about her belief about the ever growing popularity of video games. She has said that it has become more acceptable for adults to play video games, which a lot of the general population still think it's childish. So it's okay you guys, you can come out of your gaming closet.

WET voice actress Eliza DUSHKU reckons videogames now so cool people no longer need to lie about liking them.

"Videogames have almost become acceptable and cool for grown ups - not for people who are just in their teens," the Buffy actress told the BBC.

"I know so many people - friends, actors, directors - who are older and used to maybe play in private, but who can now say it loud and proud."

Does she not realize this only makes her more attractive?

Huh, a women with hots and brains.

Also take into the fact that most games are being tailored for the adult gamers (BioWare specifically) and yeah, you shouldn't be ashamed of being an adult gamer.

The fact that people still think that games are childish is what worries me.

Most games? The Wii is quite popular you know.

I'd say that most games are tailored for teenagers. That way, many adults and non-teenagers can still enjoy it, since they're either close to that age, or have already been through it.

I've never been ashamed to say I play video games. I even speak about it at church and sometimes mention it for services and sermons!

The reason is, I know I'm not childish. I don't have to prove that to anyone else, my actions prove it for me. And playing video games doesn't make a person childish.

That said. . . . it's also because I'm not controlled by video games either. I don't play them constantly, or anything like that, so I'm not an addict and I'm far from the lazy stereotype gamers are tied to.

I'm also not a hormonal violence-loving person either.

So . . . yeah. I've no need to be ashamed of it!

Can I say I love her. We had a chance to interview her at the Comic-Con and she is so f'n classy and down to Earth. A real contrast to some of the other "cough* under 30 female actresses in Hollywood.

God I love her! I want to put her in my mouth and squeeze her and hug her into itty bitty pieces.

Yeah, good words from Eliza...she should so play Black Cat in a Spidey film.

I third it, she would be an awesome Black Cat, but didn't they kinda ruin it with the skinny girl next door in the three films? (then again Twilight is swapping out actresses, so I guess anything is posisble)

Dollhouse has just started over here in the UK, I really enjoy it, it's a fantastic show and really makes her show off more than she did in her role in Buffy.

And i agree, the show is very underrated, more people should know about it as I really cannot stop watching it.
