During a conference call following the release of their financial report earlier today, EA Sports head honcho Peter Moore has confirmed that the 360 and PS3 versions of Grand Slam Tennis, the publisher's first tennis title which released for the Wii back in June, have been delayed. EA has diverted resources from the teams involved towards making an expansion pack for their wildly popular EA Sports Active fitness title, which should release later this year.

The Grand Slam Tennis HD versions were originally supposed to release this Fall.

Grand Slam Tennis For 360, PS3 Delayed In Favor Of EA Sports Active Expansion

Grand Slam Tennis will only be debuting on the Wii this year, according to EA Sports leader Peter Moore's comments during Electronic Arts' first quarter financial results call. EA Sports is diverting resources from teams working on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions in order to work on an expansion pack for EA Sports Active.

Previously, EA had indicated Grand Slam Tennis would arrive on other platforms this fall. The expansion pack for EA Sports Active is scheduled for release later this year.
