Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that a free update is in development for THQ and Volition's Red faction: Guerrilla on PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360.

Volition has today confirmed that a patch for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) versions of Red Faction: Guerrilla is on it’s way. Some of the enhancements are based on community feedback, some of it is preparation for future content, but all of it means that Red Faction: Guerrilla will continue to grow and expand. No release date has yet been announced, but it’s expected this free update will arrive before any further Downloadable Content (DLC) is released.
