They're only for a limited time and I don't even think the beta is online yet, how can they expect to get buyers for the lifetime immediately :/

still, as soon as I've tried the beta and the game is confirmed to be as awesome as it's looking, I'll at least get the 6 months. A good deal, nice idea.

The beta has been out for a while now. I didn't get in. It's actually a really great deal if you think about it. You get a membership for life for the price of little over a year's subscription cost.

There's more than just that though, there's the 6 month deal also (which I'm personally most interested in.) Although really, I greatly regret not getting the lifetime subscription on Lord of the Rings Online because I'd play that constantly. It's hard to make such a leap of faith without even playing the game though.

I thought the beta started like the 14th of this month or something? Or maybe that's an open beta, or just another key hand-out. Afterall, the advert to my right at the time of writing tells me I can "Register for the BETA", so who knows.
