The lawsuit that brought big giants such as Acitivision and EA has now been settled outside of court. Activations was talking Brutal Legends developer to court for seeking another publisher after some mishaps. You can read more about the details here. Now the lawsuit is over and Brutal Legends is set back on track for an October release. Linked info from the settlements reveals that Activision will receive little to no compensation. The way it should be.

"We have settled the lawsuit," said Activision spokeswoman Maryanne Lataif. "However, the terms are confidential."

The two companies have been embroiled in litigation since June, when Activision filed a lawsuit to prevent Double Fine from releasing the game in October. The title had originally been part of the games portfolio of Vivendi Games, which last year merged with Activision.

Thank god. I'm no fan of EA but at least the greedy *bleep*s at Activision got what was coming to them.
