Brutal Legend Soundtrack Revealed

Electronic Theatre reports on the revelation of the complete soundtrack for the forthcoming Brütal Legend for Xbox 360 and PS3 from DoubleFine and Electronic Arts.

Starring the vocal talent of Jack Black as our hero, Brütal Legend’s setlist includes classic artists that define the genre, such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Motörhead and Megadeth, as well as contemporary bands such as Marilyn Manson, Children of Bodom and, of course, Tenacious D. The full setlist is included below for your convenience, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest from DoubleFine.

    Good to see Children of Bodom, I'm surprised to see them infiltrating games the way they have. Happily surprised, but surprised none the less.

      Admittedly its there most boring song (Angel's Don't Kill), but yeah I must say I'm suprised too. I thought they wouldn't give a flying *bleep* tbh.

    Wow, maybe this is why Activision were trying to get rid of this game, because the soundtrack kicks the holy hell out of any Guitar Hero set list.

    I saw the words Judas Priest, Megadeth and Motorhead and instantly decided it's worth getting.

    That soundtrack gets a thumbs up from me.

    the lack of immortal is disturbing.

    also, i don't get it. is this going to be a music game like rock band and guitar hero or what? i was under the impression that this was going to be an action game or something, but this setlist kinda changed my mind on that @_@

      No, it's an action game. It just has an awesome soundtrack.

      Tenacious D makes this win, tbh.

        sometimes licensed music can feel out of place in non-music games.. i'm sure anything with jack black's name on it can pull off whatever they're going for just fine tho

          Essentially, its just making the large driving sections (which there will no doubt be, Far Cry 2 style) much more tolorable

          Its still very much an action game, it plays kinda like Fable I would assume.
