Game Republic, the creators of the forgotten hit Folklore will be at GamesCom this year. During the event they are set to announce two new games. Namco-Bandai will be publishing these games so that means it is not a sequel to any Sony owned IPs but probably a whole new IP.

GamesCom starts August 19 and ends on the 23rd.

As the hype train for GamesCom reaches full swing, more new game announcements for the convention have been revealed. The latest batch come from NeoGAF member and games journalist Vinterbird, who reported that Game Republic is set to unveil 2 previously unannounced games at the upcoming GamesCom convention. Game Republic is an independant Japanese developer founded by the father of Street Fighter II, Yoshiki Okamoto and is most commonly known for the PS3 exclusive action RPG, Folklore.

Folklore was an awesome game, even now it's in my top favorites. I can't wait to see what comes from these two games.
