In kind of random unexpected news, the press release information for the new updates for the Xbox 360 include a little information that says Netflix is only going to be on the 360 (as far as game consoles). So will Blockbuster or some other video no demand service step up for the other consoles?

This exclusive partnership offers you the ability to instantly stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix to the television via Xbox 360. Xbox 360 will be the only game console to offer this movie-watching experience, available to Xbox LIVE Gold members who are also Netflix unlimited plan subscribers**, at no additional cost.

Netflix is an online movie rental service. You can watch almost limitless movies online and rent up to 3 DVDs at a time and keep them as long as you want. Depending on which service you choose will be your monthly fee.

I thought this was already a given and general knowledge...

I never expected NetFlix to come to the other consoles. Rather, I kinda expect places like BestBuy to do something with the PS3. As for the Wii . . . I haven't a clue, maybe a service completely on their own.?

The Wii has a movie service (Or something along the lines) in Japan already. I imagine the PS3 will probably get it's own system at some point.
