Gamers who are still on the edge of purchasing Guitar Hero 5 now have a reason to purchase it. If you order within the month of September, gamers will be able to redeem a special code that will entitle them to Guitar Hero: Van Halen absolutely free. Best part is? You'll be getting the game BEFORE it arrives in stores. 130 songs for $59.99 (plus applicable taxes) seems very appealing, wouldn't you say?

Even if you're experiencing some music game overload, you have to take notice of something like this: Those who buy Guitar Hero 5 during the month of September will be able to send away for a free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen, which will be sent to them before it arrives in stores.

Agreed. We still have DJ Hero, Band Hero, Guitar Hero 5, and Guitar Hero: Van Halen all coming out in the next 4 months from the Nevervision franchise.

In the same year, Harmonix released Lego: Rock Band, Rock Band: Unplugged, and The Beatles: Rock Band. Nevervision is releasing more games in the next four months alone than Harmonix released all year, and last year the only thing we got was Rock Band 2.

That's not counting all the other games Nevervision has released this year, and not counting the track packs Harmonix released as the songs featured in them are just DLC tracks that already available or will be made available, as a consumer alternative.

You can't honestly tell me you're surprised that Activision, a company that when in trouble decides to *bleep* over the anti-American lands (see Modern Warfare 2) would let us get a game for free?

      No. No no.

We'll probably have to pay MORE for both games.

I've learnt my lesson. When it comes next gen, I am NEVER buying anything with a peripheral.

Either Activision is desperate to to sell loads of GH5s or GH:VH is a load of crap, and are giving it away for free. Either way, they still aren't getting me to buy it.

Wow if you think that this game is the most anticipated game from Activision then your deadly wrong, Modern Warfare 2 is their huge hit this year.
