When Haze was released on the PS3, it was criticized for being an unpolished game. The disappointing sales of Haze almost caused Free Radical to close down, until they were bought by Crytek, and re-branded as Crytek UK. Crytek UK’s managing director recently said in an interview that issues with the PS3 caused the game to under-perform. Free Radical didn't know how to use the PS3 to its full potential, and had to spend most of the development time fixing bugs and issues. Now that the studio has access to a well developed game engine, Crytek UK is positive they could use the full potential of the hardware.

So thats not the PS3's fault it was their fault for releasing a game on a platform they didn't understand. No one forced them to release it exclusively on a platform they had limited knowledge of, and if the console was such a hinderance how do they explain the terrible gameplay and story. Yeah the graphics were shit but there was much more wrong with the game than a lack of knowledge of the PS3 which would have only affected graphics if anything.. Quit making excuses Crytek UK, you didn't have to release the game when you did you had delayed multiple times another delay wouldn't have hurt you.

PS. If your next game fails maybe you should consider you just don't have the development talent for this level of game development. Sure you were good when consoles were far simpler but so far you have merely shown you are quick to make excuses for your petty lack of knowledge. The PS3 cannot be that tricky to learn just look at the other exclusives you tarnished with Haze.. Excuses will get you nowhere.

So because the programmers weren't good enough to code for the PS3, it's somehow the PS3's fault? That's ridiculous! That'd be like me trying to make a game for the PS3 and blaming the PS3 because I don't know how to code for it! Sheesh . . .
